K-5th Grade Family Faith Formation

Forming the youngest members of our community takes place within the context of the family. Two monthly meetings and at-home activities work towards the goal of supporting the domestic church by empowering and supporting parents in handing on our Catholic faith to their children. Each month, a parent formation session allows for prayer, reflection and formation for the adults in the family so they are empowered to model their faith at home with their children. These meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month 6:30-8pm. A monthly “community gathering,” for all families gathered together allows for hands-on, experienced based learning for family members of all ages takes place on the last Sunday of the month. Please see our full schedule for exact dates. Consumable materials with parent implementation resources will be sent home from each gathered session to support ongoing formation in the home and life of the family.  Parent sessions will take place at Saint Joseph’s Cordier Hall, and community gatherings rotate between our cluster parishes.
